Week #1

Day 1
At home: please study the vocabulary on Quizlet
In class: Quiz, then practice communicative activities facilitated by the teacher
Day 2
At home: you will learn how to form and when to use le Passé Composé, use the presentation below to guide you.




In class: Quiz on le Passé Composé, then practice activities to use this tense correctly.

Day 3
At home: you will learn the agreement rules of the past participle when using le Passé Composé.

In class: Quiz on the agreement rules, then in-class activities to apply the rules and use the tense

Day 4
At home: you will how to form l'imparfait, click on the link below and use the presentation to guide you

In class: Quiz on l'imparfait, then in-class activities to apply the rules and use the tense

Week #2

Now that you know how to form le Passé Composé and l'imparfait, you will spend time this week learning the difference between the two past tenses through application.

Day #1
At home: Use the presentation below to help you determine when to use either le Passé Composé or l'imparfait




Now let's see if you understand the difference between the two. Use the worksheet that I shared with you on Google Drive.
You can also  access the Sophia tutorial I created. practice by taking the Quiz.

In class: we will go over the worksheet together, discussing which tense to use for each verb and why it that is.

Day#2
At home: Listen to the Voki and make a summary of the story told using le passé composé or l'imparfait

In class: in-class activities  to develop comfort using the two tenses

Day #3
At home: In groups of 3, you will write a one page story. It can be about anything. Be creative!

In class: presentations of the stories and feedback

Day #4
At home: Review everything we've covered from week one up to now. I will be on Google Hangout from 7-8:30 PM to answer any question you may have.

In class: test on the vocabulary, le passé composé and l'imparfait. You will then write a one
